BATTLE ON THE COLORADO 🏁

FAIRFIELD, OH — The roar of engines and the rush of adrenaline return to the Texas Hill Country as the IHRA F1 Powerboat Series heads to Marble Falls, Texas for the 2nd Annual Battle on the Colorado, taking place June 5–7, 2026.

Hosted by the Marble Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, the event will once again transform the Colorado River into one of the most exciting and spectator-friendly racecourses on the IHRA F1 Powerboat Series schedule.

Fans can expect a full weekend of high-speed competition, live entertainment, family activities, and up-close access to some of the fastest powerboats in North America.

"The first F1 Powerboat race last year was a great event. A lot of excitement all weekend long for everyone. We’re looking forward to the 2026 races and are excited that it will be bigger and better this year!" said Marble Falls Mayor John Packer.

The weekend kicks off with Free Friday starting with official testing sessions, giving fans an early look at the action followed by the Cities Summer Concert Series in the Park. Live music, food trucks, and the Racer Rally featuring the drivers and race boats.

Racing intensifies Saturday with qualifying and heat races before championship finals take center stage Sunday as drivers battle for victory on the tight Colorado River course.
The IHRA F1 Powerboat Series features elite drivers piloting Formula 1 powerboats capable of speeds exceeding 120 mph and accelerating from 0 to 100 mph in under five seconds. Known for its deck-to-deck competition, sharp turns, and nonstop intensity, the series delivers one of the most thrilling experiences in motorsports.

In addition to Formula 1 competition, fans will also experience action from Formula Lights, Tri Hulls, and the kids Talent Cup support classes throughout the weekend.

The event is expected to bring significant tourism and economic impact to the Marble Falls area while showcasing the city to audiences across the country through live streaming, digital coverage, and national motorsports media exposure.
