🏆 SUMMER CHALLENGE TRANSFORMATION WINNER:

She lost 6 pounds in 6 weeks — but that’s honestly only a small piece of why I’m so proud of her.

This relentless woman here watched Relentless Pursuit from afar for a while before finally showing up to a Manchester Movement Club workout and taking a chance on our Spring Challenge.

And she didn’t just get results during that challenge and stop.

She took what she learned, kept applying it on her own, kept making strides between challenges, and came back for our Summer Challenge even stronger — this time taking home the overall transformation win.

She is a mom of two who carries more outside of the gym than most people around her probably realize. Yet she is STILL one of the most vibrant, energetic, life-of-the-party people you will ever meet. She shows up for her kids. She shows up for the people she loves. And somewhere along the way, she decided she was going to show up for herself, too.

For the longest time, she didn’t want her starting photos shared because she wasn’t proud of where she began.

But THIS is exactly why they deserve to be seen.

Not because the “before” was something to be ashamed of — but because the woman who decided to start anyway deserves to see just how far she has come. She deserves to inspire. She deserves to be celebrated for making the sometimes difficult decision to put herself first.

Strong. Vibrant. Resilient. And absolutely RELENTLESS.

🏆 WINNING WEDNESDAY 🏆

Four women. Four completely different starting points. Four completely different goals.
And you’ll notice I didn’t put dates on these before & afters.
Because honestly? It doesn’t matter how fast the change happens. It matters that you START, you keep going, and when you get close to the goal… you move the goal post and make a new one.

🩵Jessica Singleton — Her first photo was around 6 months postpartum. Today, she’s down around 70 pounds and living an active lifestyle that her young kids get to WATCH. They’re growing up seeing Mom prioritize movement, strength and her health as something normal.

✨Helen — Her goal was never weight loss. She had been underweight most of her life and came to me wanting to build strength, muscle, healthier eating habits and CONFIDENCE. And that’s exactly what we’ve been working on.

✨Jackie — Down 60+ pounds as a completely ONLINE client. She checks in week to week, takes her progress photos, tracks her macros and has learned how to actually fuel her body. Nothing fancy. She learned the process and then kept doing the work.

✨Ashton — Joined me through a challenge about a year/year and a half postpartum. She wanted to get stronger, gain confidence, learn how to move her body and prioritize her health before she and her husband started trying for baby #2.

And THIS is the part I want people to understand:

It’s never just about the woman in the photo.

It’s about the partner watching her make changes who decides maybe they can make some too.

It’s about the little kids watching Mom exercise and take care of herself, so THEY grow up believing that’s just what you do.

It’s about the friend, coworker, sister or stranger who sees her progress and thinks, maybe I can do this too.

The person in the photo starts the process.

She holds the standard. But the impact doesn’t end with her, it only begins with her.
That’s what winning looks like to me.

I have openings for 1:1 in-person coaching as well as online coaching for those who aren’t local or need the flexibility.

There’s a common misconception that you have to get your heart rate into a specific “fat-burning zone” before your body actually starts burning fat.

You don’t.

Your body uses a mixture of fat and carbohydrates for energy from the beginning of exercise. What changes with intensity is how much it relies on each fuel source.

At lower intensities, a higher percentage of the calories you burn may come from fat. This is where the traditional 50–70% of your max heart rate “fat-burning zone” comes from.

As intensity increases, your body relies more heavily on carbohydrates — but you may also burn more total calories.

And this is an important distinction if your goal is fat loss or changing your body composition.

You don’t need every workout to be about burning the highest percentage of fat possible.

Strength training matters because building and maintaining muscle is part of improving body composition. Cardio has benefits. Walking has benefits. Strength training has benefits. They don’t have to compete with each other.

For most of my clients, the goal isn’t to find the perfect “fat-burning” workout.

It’s to strength train consistently, stay active, use cardio appropriately and get nutrition in line with the goal.

There’s no magic heart rate. There’s a bigger picture

New training times opening in September!

I knew prep was going to be hard.

I don’t think I fully understood how hard the weeks AFTER would be.

And I don’t mean the “post-show blues.” I’m proud of what I did. I don’t regret stepping on stage. I am already planning a 2027 late season. I’m not sitting around sad that prep is over.

My body just feels like it’s been through something.

The hunger and cravings after the show were honestly hard to control. After 16–22 weeks of telling yourself “no,” suddenly every food you haven’t had sounds good — and once you have it, it can be really freaking hard to stop.

Then there’s the expectation that the show is over, so surely you get a bunch of food back.

You don’t.

Your body is still in a fragile place. You’re still following a plan. You’re still reversing. And mentally, that can be HARD when part of you feels like you should finally be “done.”

I’m almost 3 weeks post-show and I finally feel like I’m starting to think rationally about food again.

But there are other things I wasn’t prepared for either.

Being told over and over how skinny and small I am. Looking at clothes I’ve worn for YEARS that now hang off my body. Wondering when they’ll fit again — or if they will. Wondering when I should start buying things that actually fit so I can feel good getting dressed again.

And at the same time, knowing the goal IS to gain weight back.

That’s a mind game.

I’m sharing this because social media gets the stage pictures, the medal, the abs and the “I did it.”

This is part of doing it too.

And I think there’s value in showing BOTH.

It’s also reminded me how important it is to have someone outside of your own head coaching you through changing your body — because your own thoughts aren’t always the most rational place to take advice from when you’re in the middle of it.

That’s what I want to be for my clients, too. The rational voice

You’re not missing motivation.
You’re missing people around you who make showing up feel normal.👏

Because doing it alone? It’s REAL easy to talk yourself out of the workout, say “I’ll start again Monday,” and slowly fall right back out of the routine.

Community + accountability of a coach changes that. You don’t have to be the fittest person in the room. You just have to keep putting yourself in the room- even on the days you have only 40 or 50% to give. Somedays THAT is your 100%

Let’s talk about Relentless Pursuit client, Kristin 🩵
…
She came to me early June when she had 2 months off of work and wanted to gain confidence- understand how to lift with correct form and ultimately get that plan and accountability!
…
At first she had every excuse the book had!
-“oh I don’t know about 10k steps daily”
-“oh I don’t know about that much protein”
-“can I swim and do exercises in the pool instead of walking”?

In just 2 months, the above excuses are gone! She hits protein with ease, the steps are there and you obviously see the difference!

Now that she is back to work- we work together through relentless pursuit online coaching. She has a 3x per week at home workout program, and we do official check ins and adjustments as needed to her plan each Monday- so she can CONTINUE the momentum she is building.

If you have a goal you want to work on, or you know you just want to start but need help with: a goal, accountability, and a plan that is tailored to you….

I’m talking to you IF:
-✨you acknowledge you’re not perfect and there will be life that occurs
-✨you’re someone who’s TOO stubborn to quit. You may need adjustments but you FANCY yourself not a quitter!
✨you’re someone who CRAVES learning the skill of discipline and becoming someone that you WANT to be but your current self wouldn’t recognize yet.

If that’s YOU, I’m here for you. I have ✨TWO ✨ online coaching spot open in August!

Pm me “relentless” I’ll get you more info!

✨I’m a week and 2 days removed from the stage ✨

Show photos are in, and I’ve never worked harder on a fitness based goal, ever. I usually just move on and “next” but I’m going to keep space ✨ for this wonderful memory.

If you took social media away, if you took away the stage- I’d STILL choose to train for the growth and then the prep- all over again. I loved learning this new (to me..) way of training, of using food to fuel me when I needed strength the most.. and etc..

Last week was HARD for me adjusting to reverse diet. I still swear I cannot get full. 🙃 Ha! I’ll make it.

One of my original reasons for going on this journey was because I had the same physique for like 4 years ish…no gaining and no losses. I’m a coach, and personal trainer and SLOWLY I felt I was becoming un-relatable to my clients. So I thought- let me do the most uncomfortable thing (to me) let me INTENTIONALLY gain weight- muscle and fat. I’ll be uncomfortable- much like those that I coach when they first come to me. And I’ll re-do taking it off too. This- made me a better coach, and it helped reveal so much to myself that I never sat with long enough to think about.

I cannot wait to come back for an Oct/nov season next year- YES, after my horse shows are over for the year- with a whole new package.
…
A new friend recently told me that the “evolution is endless.”I believe you should constantly be growing and changing. That doesn’t end.. until God tells you your time is done. So, let’s keep evolving.
