Bryan DeArdo of CBS Sports is pointing to the Tennessee Titans' powerhouse coaching staff as a massive reason for optimism heading into 2026.

General manager Mike Borgonzi, who helped build three Super Bowl champions in Kansas City, and head coach Robert Saleh are constructing a culture of sustained success in Nashville.

To ensure franchise quarterback Cam Ward reaches his ultimate ceiling in Year 2, the Titans brought in mastermind offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.

Having famously guided Josh Allen's rapid ascent in Buffalo, Daboll's proven developmental track record is the perfect ingredient to unlock Ward's elite potential and lead a highly anticipated offensive resurgence.

Gennaro Filice of NFL.com is officially doubling down and staying firmly aboard the Cam Ward bandwagon for the 2026 season.

While the Tennessee Titans' 3-14 record during Ward's rookie campaign didn't turn many heads, the young quarterback's late-season growth was incredibly enticing.

After committing 11 turnovers in his first eight games, Ward settled down beautifully, turning the ball over just three times in his final nine starts. Now, Tennessee has surrounded their 23-year-old playmaker with a much better environment.

With offensive mastermind Brian Daboll taking over as coordinator, alongside the additions of targets like Wan'Dale Robinson and rookie Carnell Tate, Ward has all the ingredients necessary to cook up a massive sophomore breakout in Year 2.

Elic Ayomanor managed to stand out during his rookie season even while playing within one of the NFL’s most inconsistent offenses.

The former fourth-round pick quickly earned meaningful opportunities in Tennessee’s WR rotation and became one of the few bright spots within the passing attack throughout the year.

Ayomanor appeared in 16 games and started 14 of them during his rookie season, quietly putting together a very solid foundation despite the Titans finishing with only three wins.

Now, entering Year 2, there’s legitimate reason to believe his role and impact could continue growing.

Cam Ward is also entering his second NFL season, Tennessee now has a new coaching staff led by Robert Saleh, and the organization aggressively added more offensive talent throughout free agency and the draft.

Even with increased competition inside the WR room, Ayomanor already showed enough as a rookie to suggest he could continue carving out an important role moving forward.

Elic Ayomanor’s 2025 season:

💙 89 targets
❤️ 41 receptions
💙 515 receiving yards
❤️ 12.6 yards per reception
💙 4 receiving TDs

The Titans are entering a new era offensively. Ayomanor could end up being part of it.

With a new coaching staff led by head coach Robert Saleh and entering the second year of quarterback Cam Ward, the Titans approached the offseason looking to continue building around the unit.

After making key additions in free agency, the focus shifted to the draft, where Tennessee used five of its eight selections on offensive players.

Carnell Tate headlines the class as a first-round pick, adding another weapon to the passing game. From there, the Titans continued to build depth across multiple positions.

Fernando Carmona and Pat Coogan reinforce the offensive line, Nicholas Singleton adds another option in the backfield, and Jaren Kanak rounds out the group at tight end.

With this class, Tennessee added both support and depth across the offense while continuing to shape the unit under a new direction.
