This is Jon, he thought he was just skinny fat and there was nothing he could do about it.
If you're skinny fat and think you can't do anything about it, you're lying to yourself.
You can change it but the physical is just the first part of the equation
The most important part is how you see yourself after you change your image

đŠ 3 Red Flags Of Your Exercise Routine đŠ
If youâve tried working out regularly to lose weight but didnât get the body you wanted...
That actually makes perfect sense, and hereâs why:
Thereâs a weird misconception that exercise helps you lose body fatâitâs totally wrong.
In fact, when people start exercising, they often overcompensate with food.
âI just trained really hard, itâs time to EAT!â
That was always meâhaha. Iâd go lift really hard, then hit the Chinese buffet.
Fine if youâre a powerlifter or sumo wrestler, but if youâre trying to lose fat or get a six-pack, that wonât work.
You can exercise 6 days per week, run 10 miles per day, but if youâre eating more calories than youâre burning, youâll gain body fat.
So, exercising MORE isnât the solution.
If you want to lose body fat, focus on your macros.
Lifting weights is good for gaining muscle mass. Nutrition programs are good for fat loss.
Itâs that simple.
Here are the red flags keeping you soft:
Youâre not tracking macros or calories daily
If calories and macros are the only way to lose fat, you have to track them daily. It should only take 10 minutes of your day. Is that worth losing the 20 pounds of fat youâve been trying to shed for the past decade? Obviously, YES.
Youâre not measuring progress weekly with an accountability coach
You HAVE to track your progress and make adjustments. DUH. If youâre not tracking progress, how will you feel good about the direction youâre going? You wonât. Goals give you positive emotion, specifically working toward your goals, getting closer every week. You could be getting positive feedback every week from your weekly check-in... Imagine, âIâm down another pound!!â â6 more to go, and Iâll be at my goal!â or âIâm finally starting to see my six-pack!â
Youâre not part of a team with the same goals and accountability
Have you tried this on your own and failed? Were you working with like-minded people on the same path? In a group, with a personal coach, with weekly check-ins while counting your macros? Of course not. Thatâs why it hasnât worked. You have to learn the basics from someone who has done it before. I learned from my first bodybuilding competition. Now, I teach others and hold their hand at first, then they learn to walk on their own and in a community.
Itâs a foolproof method if you do the work. Itâs a body fat loss process that you can replicate every single time, and thatâs what Iâve done for my clients.
