Stratford Spartan Track and Field

Our athletes did an amazing job on Monday. Our boys won the Region and our girls finished 5th.

We had an awesome week of work.

This Friday Stratford Spartan Track and Field will take part in the KYA HS Indoor Track Meet at Vandy.

Our MS Boys Team finished 3rd in the State today.

Last year our team was not competitive in the region. We were dead last out of 23 teams. This year we finished 8th and 9th in the team standings. Top 2 finishers in each event qualified for State and we finished 3rd or 4th in multiple events which meant we had to wait on an at large bid. Our athletes didn't get the at large bid. We were so close, however we have everyone returning next year. This was a year about growth. Seeing our athletes grow, ask about summer track, ask when they can begin training, and wanting to run indoor shows their growth.

This week is gonna be busy. Our first shot at State Qualifying begins tomorrow.

Athletes: Do we have to do the ice bath.
Me: Yes.
