The TN Mojo 2031-Hunter/Mouser squad finished 5th while playing UP a division at the USSSA Southaven Early Birds Tournament in Southaven, Mississippi, finishing the weekend 3-2. 💪🥎

Was it the finish we set out for? No. But that’s exactly why we play these games.

Every opportunity this weekend gave us something to learn. Every challenge exposed an area where we can get better. Every moment in the trenches is another opportunity to grow.

But there is something about this team that makes them unique.

Through the highs AND the lows, these girls continued to support one another, encourage one another, and lift each other up.

These girls genuinely want the person beside them to succeed just as much as they want to succeed themselves.

THAT is special. ❤️‍🔥

📚 THE HOMEWORK STARTS NOW.

Over the next two weeks, each athlete will self-reflect on the moments when confidence dipped, identify those situations, and intentionally put in the work to become better and more confident in those departments.

Because growth doesn’t happen when everything goes your way.

We grow through intentional focus, honest self-reflection, and time in the trenches.

We may not have finished where we wanted this weekend, but we’re walking away better, closer, and hungry.

The next tournament will come.
The next challenge will come.

The squad opened Sunday with PURPOSE, and WOW… what a day! 💙🧡

We started the morning at church, where the girls learned about THE ATHLETE and the discipline, commitment, and mindset it takes to become one. A powerful reminder that developing an athlete goes far beyond the field. 🙏

Then it was MEDIA DAY! 📸

Each one captures a little piece of the beauty of this game and the girls who play it. 📸🥎

And let’s just say… the personalities were LOUD! 😂 From the smiles to the poses to the gestures, you can learn a whole lot about these athletes without them saying a word.

THIS SQUAD HAS PERSONALITY!

Then came the WORK. 💪🔥

The girls dug in for a tremendous team practice, and all I can say is WOW! The effort was relentless. The attitude was exceptional. The energy was contagious. The focus was evident.

And we have to give a SPECIAL SHOUTOUT to Coach Chris Little with Fastpitch Power for coming out and working with our pitchers! 🔥🥎

There is something special about learning from the best, and Coach Chris brought an incredible level of knowledge, expertise, and passion to our girls.

Even cooler? His daughter, Ada Little, is a current pitcher at the University of Georgia and a former TN Mojo standout. Talk about a full-circle moment! 🐶🔥

But Coach Chris didn’t stop with his expertise. He showed up BIG for our girls, bringing SOOOO MUCH GEAR for the team! 🙌

Coach, THANK YOU for giving back, investing in these athletes, and sharing your knowledge with the next generation. We are incredibly grateful for your time, generosity, and commitment to helping these girls become better pitchers—and better athletes.

EFFORT + ATTITUDE = THE STANDARD.

To close out the evening, the squad gathered for a team brunch at Cattleman’s. And MAN… these girls can CHOW DOWN! 😂🥩🍽️

More than a meal, it was another opportunity to build relationships, laugh together, and strengthen the bond that will carry this team through the season.

📈 PRODUCTIVITY INDICATOR: HIGH.

The foundation is being built.
The standard is being established.
The relationships are growing.
The work is underway.

What a DAY for the TN Mojo 2031-Hunter/Mouser girls! 💙🧡

The Mojo crew took on the University of Kentucky Prospect Camp in Lexington, KY, and these girls absolutely SHOWED UP! From the first rep to the final evaluation, they put in the work across ALL FIVE TOOLS OF THE GAME—and they did NOT disappoint. 💪🥎

📊 Metrics were recorded.
📈 Numbers were measured.
🔥 Work was put in.

And now… we get to watch the journey unfold. This will be a FUN one to track over the next year as these athletes continue to develop, compete, and chase their goals. The work starts now!

A HUGE thank you to UK, Coach Lawson, and the entire staff for having us and giving our girls an opportunity to compete, learn, and measure themselves against some great athletes. We appreciate you! 💙🧡

And because a 10-HOUR DAY ON THE FIELD apparently wasn’t enough… 😂

We closed out the night with some team building at GattiTown! 🍕🎮 The girls had VERY little gas left in the tank, but somehow managed to find just enough energy to hit a few arcade games together. 😂

Work hard. Laugh hard. Grow together. That’s what this journey is all about. ❤️
