Aaron Ekblad and Anthony Duclair are very much missed from the Panthers lineup this season but in spite of those lineup losses Florida still has a record of three wins and one loss. I like Florida at home tonight to beat Tampa Bay at the square price -114

Buffalo at Calgary (CAL -1.5 -110)

The early games this evening are a crapshoot… Toronto is playing horribly Ottawa is confusing and Minnesota has given up seven goals in two of their last three games… It seems like the whole world is upside down. Tonight the later games should be more predictable. Calgary is much better than they have been playing early on, they will get things sorted out and tonight is a good start against Buffalo. I like the -1.5 goals against the Sabres this evening. Take Calgary to roll.

St Louis st Seattle (STL WIN -142)

How good are the St Louis Blues? We don’t really know… they’ve only played one game this regular season and that win by 3 maybe foretells something about them- we do know the Seattle Kraken have given up 5 goals in each of their 3 losses and St Louis would seem to be better than the teams the Kraken have faced. Translation: take St Louis at -142… I repeat, take St Louis at -142.

Winnipeg at Colorado COL (-240 win)

The Avs lost to Calgary in what might be called a “lazy” effort and then followed up that stinker with a resounding win over Minnesota, scoring 6 times against a historically stingy opponent in the Wild. It would seem that only Colorado can beat themselves this year- keeping a maintaining peak performances against lesser will be a challenge- but hey they won the Cup last year so they know what to do. Take the Avs over Winnipeg tonight at an equally stingy -240 price…

Islanders should crush tonight- SJ is overmatched , take the -205 on the win end

Anaheim has a great team- they just need a few more big wins to prov it to themselves… all the talent in the world and ar +162 they are a very attractive wager. Anaheim to win on the road tonight

Pittsburgh will go 3-0 tonight- Crosby and Co. Over match this lot by a country mile. I like the -1.5 at -102…. Pretty safe even on the road.

Arizona at Bos… under6.5 (-122)

Arizona is retooling this year and Boston is without McAvoy, Bergeron and Marchand. The Bruins are making do with what they have in reserve but neither team is likely to score more than 4 times in this game which puts the U6.5 Definately in play tonight.

NYR Vs. WPG NYR to Win +122

New York Rangers are supposed to contend this year for the divisional title and to do so they need to keep progressing against mid-level competition like they face tonight in Winnipeg. The Rangers are a confident bunch after running two very good teams out of the rink in Tampa Bay and Minnesota. Nothing tells me they are facing better tonight and with every quality win the Rangers will look more and more dangerous. The key tonight is in the Winnipeg goal- Connor Hellebuyck is good but the Rangers will fire 40+ at him tonight and prevail. This shouldn’t be close at the end- Rangers to win as undeserving underdogs on the road at +122

Heavy hearts for the Raleigh community tonight after yesterdays tragic events. Carolina dispatched Columbus with ridiculous ease Wednesday night and will continue to flex their speed and puck skills against a dreadfully overmatched San Jose team if not distracted by the events at home. I’m tempted to take the -1.5 all things being equal but at -188 the odds are too good to pass up on a simple Carolina win. Take it an run… CAR WIN -188.
