All Saturday classes are cancelled for 1/24. We will resume classes on Wednesday, weather permitting.

We will hold classes next Friday 1/30 for all kids at 6:30pm and adults at 7:30pm.

Another announcement will be made for an additional classes to make up for tomorrow. Stay warm, safe, and if you can practice some at home.

Reminder, no classes today. Our annual fall tournament is taking place in brentwood. We will resume classes on wednesday.

Our annual fall tournament is approaching! Hosted by the Brentwood dojo, we are looking forward to seeing all students compete. Please turn in your registration forms by Wednesday if you are planning to attend. This event is free for all AKA students and if you do not get registered before, we can still do so when you get there. Registration opens at 9:30am and the tournament begins at 10:00am. If you need more information, please see Sensei Stonerock at the next class. See you all there!

Congratulations to the Nashville dojo instructor staff on their achievements this year. They have worked hard over the years to accomplish this and have earned their new titles with distinction. Both Sensei A and Sensei Aldridge have proven themselves to be very competent instructors who have inspired students over the years in the martial arts. The dojo is thankful to have such a dedicated staff.

We also congratulate Master Lindsey Culbreth on her promotion to Shichidan, 7th degree black belt. Master Lindsey is a very accomplished and dedicated black belt instructor in the American Karate Academy who has trained alongside her husband, Master Michael Culbreth, and Master Stonerock for many years.

All of the students did a great job this evening at the demonstration. They should be proud of their progress. If you have any pictures or videos you would like to share, please feel free to tag us and post them.

The beginners class is warming up for class. A few new faces this month and some former students of this class helping out their junior class mates.
