Because I was underrating Monday-Thursday but then going the complete OPPOSITE Friday-Sunday.
I gained weight. I was puffy. I was inflamed. I was bloated. I was so miserable & unhappy.
It wasn’t until I got to the ROOT of my back & forth with my nutrition that I was actually able to heal my toxic relationship with food & get lasting results.

I know, because I used to be that girl. I blamed my genes for what was really a ME issue. I wasn’t being honest with myself.
Does being petite affect weight loss and HOW our bodies look with fat/ muscle? YEAH.
Do genetics affect weight loss & muscle gain? YEAH.
But the reality is, most likely you’re using it as an excuse to not find out what the REAL issue is.
For me, I was starving myself during the week, over doing it on the weekends, only doing HIIT & daily cardio.
Those things are NOT helpful for a petite but the reason I wasn’t losing weight wasn’t because it was “just how my body is”.
I wasn’t working WITH my body, I was actually ignoring it, working against it.
Petites, being short can be a pain but it is also a blessing!

yeah I move my body on vacation but it’s usually not daily AND it’s not out of restriction/obsession like it used to be!!

5 things I did before my wedding to feel my best as a petite girl ! ⬇️👰‍♀️💍
1. Most meals at home & eating good quality Whole Foods!
2. 12k daily steps (didn’t hit it daily but tried to 5/7 days of the week!)
3. Three strength training workouts & one Lagree workout
4. Alcohol no more than once a week! At least until 2 weeks before the wedding or if I had an event
5. Followed a custom periodized workout plan! This tapered off leading up to the wedding.
You deserve to feel confident & beautiful on your wedding day! You also deserve to enjoy wedding season without restrictions or added stress of what to eat/workout etc…
