Diane Jakobsen "Coach J"- role: Coach -also an assistant, singer/dancer/cheerleader/one person hype squad.
I played soccer from elementary school through high school on local recreation, travel, and school teams in New York (about 10 years).
I have my B.A. in Psychology from Adelphi University and my M.Ed in Special Education from Lehigh University.
I chose to coach at KidsUnited because I believe in supporting the child as a whole through dynamic play and exercises. I think that creating a fun, safe, positive environment encourages success in sports and in acquiring the confidence to explore new skills and ideas throughout life.

Hi, I'm Brooklyn, one of the coaches here at KidsUnited! I never actually played soccer growing up! My sports were lacrosse, field hockey, and softball, and I still play lacrosse now at the collegiate level. I went to Freedom High School and started my college career at Keiser University in West Palm Beach, FL, before transferring to Cedar Crest College, where I'm pursuing a future in medicine, hoping to go into neurology or cardiology and work with pediatric patients one day. I chose KidsUnited because I genuinely love working with kids, and this is a place where I get to support them and guide them in a great atmosphere!
