We’re thankful for every student who stepped on the mat this year. For the parents who trust us with their kids. For the teammates who show up tired, sore, and still give their best. That discipline doesn’t stop just because it’s a holiday.

Enjoy today. Rest. Recharge. Be present with your people.

Holiday Schedule Update

We’re open Monday and Tuesday this week with regular classes.
We’ll be closed Wednesday through Friday for Christmas.

Enjoy the time with family, stay safe, and we’ll see everyone back on the mats next week.

This week I promoted two new black belts.

Bella and Moses.

Moses did this while finishing up an engineering degree.
Bella did this while planning a wedding and getting ready for the next chapter of her life.

Life was busy. It would’ve been easy to step away.

Instead, they kept showing up.

That’s what this belt really represents to me. Not perfect conditions. Not extra time. Just the decision to stay committed when life gets full.

Proud of both of them and proud to have them leading by example on our mats.

Well earned.

No one was harmed in the filming of this. Lol Edna and Hollie got into a battle for the takedown and it did not disappoint. Clean entry. Perfect timing. Huge finish. Edna hit a beautiful takedown and they both hit the mats laughing. This is the kind of high level training and good energy that makes our room what it is. Iron sharpening iron. People pushing each other and learning every day. For those who do not know Edna is a 2025 Pan Am Bronze Medalist and she brings that level of focus into every round.
