Today, we throw down to honor a fallen hero with the benchmark workout โJerry.โ
๐๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ผ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ผ๐๐:
We honor U.S. Army Sgt. Maj. Jerry Dwayne Patton, 40, who died on October 15, 2008, during High Altitude High Opening (HAHO) training while preparing for deployment to Afghanistan. We run and row in memory of his service and ultimate sacrifice, keeping his wife Molly and four sonsโChad, Cody, Chase, and Connorโin our hearts.

-Start the first mile at a smooth, controlled rhythm to set yourself up for a powerful workout. Treat this opening run as your foundation so you step onto the rower feeling strong and ready to go.
-Hold a steady, sustainable split on the rower so your legs are ready to transition straight into that second run without missing a beat. By working efficiently through the middle, you save your top gear for the final mile, where you get to push hard and finish strong!
Lace up, bring your grit, and letโs work hard together. See you on the whiteboard! ๐ช
