Reebok CrossFit ONE Movement Demo "Hand-Release Pushup" 01/27/2015

Hey guys,

It's inevitable! We will all (hopefully) be home tomorrow! Here's a workout I made for you guys to get after it at home! No equipment required. If you have a weight then you can add accordingly.

Before you work out make sure to get a sufficient stretch in.

You're going to start off with some basic skill work. The intention of these two exercises are to help build chest strength and pull strength as well as get you more comfortable in the bottom position of a squat.

1. Hand release push-ups: start facedown on the ground your hands will be in push-up position. Lift your hands up so your shoulder blades retract (pinch your shoulder blades) then push up off of the ground and return to the position.

2. Squat hold: this is going to get you used to the mechanics of the squat as well as help you feel more comfortable I the bottom position. Try and do 4 sets. First set is 10 seconds 2 is 20 3 is 30 4 is 40 seconds.

WOD:
The storm before the...storm

3 rounds: 20-20-20
20 second jump squat
20 second squats
20 second squat hold
Rest 1 min after each round

EMOM 10 5 hand release push-ups
High knee run in place for the rest of each minute!

Good luck! Stay safe.
