Highest rushing total by anyone in the KCAC this year. In 3 quarters!! That’s a celebration!!

Despite a loss to KCAC foe Midland University Tuesday afternoon in Fremont, NE, Cottey football set a new program record. Alyssa Hollis, normally a WR was moved to QB in the 2nd quarter and provided a spark offensively as she rushed 18 times for 123 yards (Both new program records) and 1 touchdown. Alyssa's 123 rushing yards is also the most by any KCAC player this season. Great job Alyssa!

The Cottey College football program is pleased to announce the signing of Destiny Martinez from Miami, Florida. "Destiny is a tremendous athlete that will most likely play both sides of the ball for us," said Head Coach Matt Harder. "She has a strong flag background, and will fit in well to the culture we are building at Cottey and in our program." Martinez will be joining the Comets in August, 2022. Welcome to the family, Destiny!

Congratulations to Taylor Jordan for being offered to join Broadway intensives this summer!! Taylor has accomplished so much since starting her journey at Cottey including overcoming an ACL tear last year. We cannot wait to see what these next two years bring you! 🎉🤍
