Meet Sammy and Sam — SIGS’ New Mascots!

The Girls Silver Team decided SIGS needed a mascot. Their choice? A squirrel. Because… why not.

Huge shoutout to Lucy P. and Emma J. for pitching the idea to our staff.

You’ll start seeing Sammy and Sam on our social pages, and every now and then Sammy might pop up around the gym — hanging out during practice, crashing birthday parties, or just generally being part of the chaos.

Our gymnasts and tumblers are a lot like squirrels. They’re always scurrying around the gym, curious about everything, and constantly stashing away new skills. They leap at every opportunity to try something new. (And yes, they’ve been known to sneak a snack or two!)

Their balance rivals a squirrel running across a power line. Their energy matches a squirrel leaping from tree to tree. And if you’ve ever heard a squirrel “bark,” well… the kids at SIGS can get a little loud too.

We love that. In fact, we love it when our kids — wait for it — go nuts!

Friendly, fun faces wanted!

If you love working with kids, we want to meet you — no experience required. Gymnastics, tumbling, or trampoline experience is a plus, but not a must.

We’re looking for instructors who are:
• Supportive and encouraging
• Passionate about helping athletes grow
• Available weekday afternoons, evenings, and/or Saturday mornings
• Excited to learn — experience a plus!
