Last night, I had the privilege of celebrating an incredible accomplishment as Nick Simonetti was inducted into the Dartmouth High School Hall of Fame. What an honor, and one that is truly well deserved.
A member of the Class of 2014, Nick was an exceptional multi-sport athlete, leaving a lasting impact on the Dartmouth varsity programs in football, basketball, and track & field. He was a three-year standout on the varsity football team, excelling as a wide receiver, kick returner, and defensive back. During his career, he amassed over 1,000 receiving yards and scored more than 15 touchdowns, earning the respect of his teammates, coaches, and competitors alike.
What makes this recognition even more meaningful is the person Nick has become. He has continued to give back to the community as a varsity basketball coach at Dartmouth High School, helping guide and inspire the next generation of student-athletes.
I couldn’t be prouder of this young man. His dedication, work ethic, humility, and commitment to others are just as impressive as his athletic achievements. Congratulations, Nick, on an incredible honor. Your induction into the Dartmouth High School Hall of Fame is a testament to the legacy you’ve built, both on and off the field. Well deserved!
