Our favorite slogan and truly the heart of our program.

At Flurries, we believe every athlete deserves the opportunity to participate, grow, build confidence, have fun, and be part of the team.

There is no one right way to cheer.
There is no one right way to learn.
And there is no one right way to belong.

We focus on the athlete in front of us, support them in the way that works best for them, and make sure they know there is always a place for them on the mat.

There’s something pretty special about seeing support turn into something our athletes can actually experience. 💜❄️📣

On Saturday, our athletes practiced on the new cheer mats for the very first time — and seeing our teams out there made this moment feel even more meaningful.

These new mats give our teams a fresh surface to practice on, build skills, gain confidence, grow together, and continue creating an inclusive cheer program where every athlete has a place on the mat.

That is the impact behind these photos.

We are incredibly grateful to the SouthCoast Community Foundation for their generous contribution that helped make these new mats possible and for investing in opportunities that will benefit our athletes far beyond one practice or one season. 💜

This weekend, we got to see that support come to life.

And judging by these smiles… we think the new mats are officially athlete and volunteer approved. 😍📣❄️

✨ THERE SHE IS! ✨

Today, one of our very own Flurries cheerleaders, Mia, and her family had a moment they will never forget. 💜

Mia’s photo was projected on the Jumbotron in Times Square in New York City as part of the National Down Syndrome Society’s annual Times Square presentation and Buddy Walk celebration! 🗽✨

Mia, today you made so many people proud.

You celebrated who you are, your family, the Down syndrome community, and your Flurries Unified All Stars cheerleading family — and we could not be more proud to have you as part of our Flurries family. 💜

At Flurries, we believe that no disability, diagnosis, or label defines what someone is capable of. Every time one of our athletes steps onto the mat, tries something new, finds their confidence, or gets the opportunity to shine in a really BIG way, we are reminded exactly why this program exists.

Because when we look at all abilities, there will always be countless possibilities. 💜

💜❄️ This week’s Face of Flurries is Tre! ❄️💜

Tre is one of our Flurries athletes, and this season is extra special because Flurries is his very first activity outside of school! 📣

We love getting to watch Tre become more comfortable on the mat each week, experience something new, and be part of a team alongside his Flurries friends. 💜

And when Tre isn’t at cheer, there’s a pretty good chance he’s keeping an eye out for trailers driving through the community or on the highway! 🚛😆

We’re so happy to have Tre as part of our Flurries family and can’t wait to see all that this season brings for him! ❄️💜

Saturdays are our favorite day for so many reasons. 💜❄️

It’s the smiles.
The hugs.
The friendships.
The cheering each other on.
The excitement of seeing teammates walk through the door.
And somehow, no matter how busy the week has been, Saturday always feels like exactly where we’re supposed to be.

Pictures like this are one of our favorite reminders that Flurries is about so much more than cheer.

It’s finding your people.
It’s being part of a team.
It’s knowing there’s always a spot for you here. 💜

Fun, smiles, and a little bit of sass — Nicole brings all three to our Saturdays! 💜❄️

This is Nicole’s first year cheering with us, and she has jumped right in as a member of our new team, Flurry Fury!

She has been amazing at practice and brings so much personality and energy to the mat each week. We can’t wait to watch her continue to grow this season and see her shine on the competition mat! ✨

😭 I’M NOT CRYING… YOU’RE CRYING. 💜

Look at our THREE SENIORS. 🥹🎓

Coach Khloe. Coach Kori. Coach Emma.

We are so incredibly proud of these girls — not only for everything they have already accomplished, but for everything we know is still ahead of them.

The heart and soul they pour into our program, the love they give our athletes, and the time they spend showing up, encouraging, teaching, celebrating, and believing in them means more than they probably even realize.

Watching them grow into the young women and coaches they are today has been such a privilege, and now somehow we’re already saying…

HAPPY SENIOR YEAR. 😭💜

Coach Khloe, Coach Kori & Coach Emma, we hope you have the absolute BEST senior year. Soak up every moment, make all the memories, and enjoy every “last first” along the way.

❄️ NO PRACTICE PICTURES? NO PROBLEM. 😂📸

Apparently we were a little too busy cheering yesterday to remember to take pictures.

And by “we,” we mean Coach Kerrie. 😏

So thanks, Coach Kerrie. Since you didn’t capture any of the moments for us, today everyone gets a selfie of Coach Hannah in her living room with the Flutter Cup… which, yes, is apparently now living on the couch. 😂🏆

Now that we’ve addressed our photography department…

WEEK 2 WAS A SUCCESS! 📣💜

All three teams learned the opening of their Season 3 routines yesterday!

Counts were called. Motions were learned. Music was played approximately 472 times. And little by little, what started as choreography on paper is starting to look like FLURRIES routines.

There is something so exciting about watching it all come together one 8-count at a time. 💜❄️
