🥎💙💛 A New Role & Some Exciting Things Ahead at Bay State!
We’re excited to introduce Coach Neil Silva as Bay State Girls Softball’s new Player Agent, also helping lead the league’s public relations and player development efforts.
Some of you already know Coach Neil! He’s been part of Bay State since 2022 and brings more than 10 years of experience playing baseball, along with a passion for teaching our players some of the more nuanced aspects to the game to maximize their potential.
There’s a lot already happening behind the scenes for 2027 and beyond. Outreach for 2027 registration is beginning with local schools, and we’d love the community’s help spreading the word.

Coach Neil will also be coordinating our new BSGS TRAIN TO COMPETE Player Development Program throughout the year. These highly structured, fast-paced sessions will give players additional opportunities outside regular team practices to learn, rep and progressively apply more advanced skills and concepts. 🥎💪
We’re also developing a completely new BSGS website, planned to launch before the 2027 season, featuring our Blitz teams, recreational schedules and standings, league calendar, a new merchandise shop, and expanded resources for parents/guardians as well as material for managers and coaches.
The larger goal here is simple: continue raising the level of softball education, player development, competition and communication throughout Bay State while building an even stronger community.
