ENC Lady Bulldogs ‘15

ENC Lady Bulldogs ‘15 came to play today at shipyard in 96 degree heat with the heat index of 116! Girls went 2-1 in pool play! 2 shutouts in pool play by Scarlett Thursday and a combined shutout yesterday by Allie and Mia! We lost to a talented Carolina Lady Rays 5-1 for the 3rd pool play game with a combined pitching performance from Winsor and Peyton. which Seeded us #3 for bracket… Scarlett pitched a heck of a game and we beat the team we lost to yesterday (Carolina Lady Rays) which were the # 2 seed 3-1 with a 3 run ITP HR by Stella with our catchers Reagan, Hayden, and Micah switching out due to the heat! That brought us to the championship… Peyton got the win against Team SC Timmons 5-3 with Reagan, Hayden, and Micah behind the dish! Laylah, Peyton, Micah, and Winsor all had strong performances at the plate batting .600 plus all weekend! Gold Bracket Champions and the girls put the ENC Bulldogs on the map!
