Took a minute to figure them out in the conditions. High wind and low water. But it all came together.

Topwater striper, a couple of drum and a bonus old one.

Good group this morning! Followed by that multi-use shrimp.....bait this morning, dinner tonight.

Mental health day (solo trip). Good topwater action (striper and drum), good tunes, and a great day as always on the Neuse. I've had bad fishing days but never a bad on the water.

The bite was a little slower than I hoped, but we scratched some out. F.T. got his first red fish "named Billy"! Fun day on the water with an old friend. I'd love to know the miles walked together with golf clubs on our backs from 6th-12th grade.

An absolute grinder for these boys today. Fish over the rails though.

Honestly don't know how long it's been since we've done this, which is sad. Enjoyed my time with munchkin today. She did great! Starting to realize I don't have a little girl anymore. Times a thief!
