September 11, 2001 : I will never forget this day, I was a young Marine, stationed at Cherry Point Air Station. I was at work, working on a HMMWV and listening to the Howard Stern Show as was my routine back then. That moment, when they interrupted the radio show to announce the first tower being struck by a plane... it changed my life. My enlistment up to that moment had been during a time of peace. I remember being terrified, angry, worried, and devastated all at once. 19 years later, looking back, it still enrages me, and I still grieve for all the lives lost and destroyed. So today and forever I remember, I am glad I had the opportunity to serve, and I am very proud of our country. Never Forget, lest something like this may happen again. God Bless the USA!
