Here is my summary of the first chapter (Ground Book) of the Book of 5 Rings: The long sword symbolizes strategy. Adept use of the long sword (strategy) is the key to success. As a Certified Executive Coach, I help facilitate the development of business, personal, and/ or professional strategies. Most of my clients were bogged down with their day to day business activities and did not take the time to regularly invest in strategizing. As a result of my coaching, my clients rapidly achieve positive results because they strategized and took action on their plans.
