Sydnie has that champion mentality and is all business when it comes to Masskrugstemmen. We’re excited for the NYC national championships and look forward to seeing another banner or two hung in the Krause's bierhalle!

During the 2024 season, Mauch represented Krause’s at the national competition and ended as a runner-up, losing to the first place winner by three seconds.

This time around, Mauch said she is coming for first place.

Hofbräu Masskrugstemmen finals at Krause's Cafe!

Congratulations to Sydnie Mauch and Henry Thomason for winning last night’s final and moving on to represent Krause’s at the U.S. National Masskrugstemmen championships September 20th in New York City!

2024 US National runner up, Sydnie, came back with a vengeance and was locked in like we’ve never seen. She held her stein for an absolutely amazing 6:21 and left no room for doubt by the time it was all said and done. We think Sydnie will build on this performance, break the US national record and claim yet another National Championship for Krause’s! Wreck ‘em Sydnie!

Henry has been training for this moment for a long time and he did not disappoint last night! He cruised to his victory with a stoic hold of 18 minutes. If he was struggling, we couldn’t tell! We know our guy has a lot more in the tank though and we’re feeling good about yet another banner being hung this time with Henry’s name on it!

Could it be a first ever Steinasty sweep in Central Park? Sydnie and Henry will do their best to make it happen!

Thank you to everyone that helped out one way or another to make this season the best yet. Thank you also to all the competitors that show up every year to participate in what has now become a Saturday night Krause’s ritual known as Masskrugstemmen! Prost!

Congratulations to Marquetta Valdez and Edwin Brown for winning the final week of the Hofbräu Masskrugstemmen competition at Krause's Cafe!

First time Masskrugstemmer, Marquetta strolled into the biergarten and casually put up an impressive time of 4:10! We think she may have some more time in that strong right arm 💪

Masskrugstemmen veteran, two-time Krause’s finals winner and everyone’s favorite tuba player, Edwin Brown, left no room for doubt as he literally sweated his way to a season high time of 14 minutes!

We’re less than 72 hours away from what will be one of the best Krause’s Masskrugstemmen finals you’ll ever see. Make your plans to be there Saturday night well before the 8 pm start time! Prost! 🍻🍺

Tonight’s the last night to qualify for the Hofbräu Masskrugstemmen finals at Krause's Cafe on August 2nd! It’ll be hot, the Biergarten will be packed and the competition will be fierce to see who moves on to the coveted finals!

To say last night’s Women’s Hofbräu Masskrugstemmen at Krause's Cafe was the best one of the season would be an understatement! We had some of the best stein holders in the state of Texas lined up battling each other last night.

Congratulations to Sydnie Mauch, Amanda Trahan and Amanda Rodgers for punching their tickets to the August 2nd finals! All three of them have made a previous Krause’s final while Sydnie and Amanda T. have also competed at the National Championships in NYC in years past!

As good as the battle was, Sydnie eventually outlasted everyone else and posted a season high time of 4:15! Sydnie finished 2nd at the Masskrugstemmen National Championships last year in NYC and has her sights set on claiming another Big Apple win for Krause’s Cafe!

If last night was any indication of how the August 2nd finals will go, you won’t want to miss what will be greatness in action from all of these strong ladies!

We had so much fun at the week 4 Hofbräu Masskrugstemmen competition at Krause's Cafe, we needed a week off!

Congratulations to Ashley Tippit and Patrick O’Brien for dominating all other stein holders and positioning themselves nicely for the August 2nd finals!

Ashley, one of the last ones to sign up that night, made light work of the other 7 competitors while Patrick had the luck of the Irish with him as he outlasted 26 other men! Beast mode activated!

We’re back at it tonight at 8 pm to hold beautiful Hofbrau steins filled with that delicious German nectar! If you want to see what you’re made of and have an eventual chance to win a trip to the Masskrugstemmen National Championships in NYC, you have two weeks left. Come get it!
