Looking to get into fly tying? 🎣

The Umpqua Beginner’s Fly Tying Kit is a great place to start! This 22-piece kit comes with the tools, materials, and instructions you need to start tying your own flies.

And don't forget, we're now offering FREE one-on-one fly tying lessons! Just give the shop a call to book a time slot. 📞

Fly fishing is fun, but it's even more rewarding when you catch a fish on a fly you tied yourself. 🪰 Stop by Gruene Outfitters and get started before trout season hits so you can experience that satisfaction firsthand!

There is something so special about catching a wild fish of this caliber knowing it swam over 600 miles and over 8 dams to get here, and I was blessed to be one of its many hurdles. Barbless hooks were used, she spent as little time out of the water as possible, and a strong release was assured.
