Join us on June 12th from 3–7 PM for an afternoon of fishing, food, cold drinks, games, vendors, and good company.

One of the highlights of the event will be the opportunity to test out a huge selection of Scientific Anglers fly lines on your own rod. Scientific Anglers will be bringing reels already loaded with different lines, making it easy to compare tapers and see what performs best on your setup. Fly line taper is critical, and there’s no better way to find the right match than by casting it yourself.

A $10 donation gets you food and a raffle ticket, making it a great excuse to spend an afternoon talking fly fishing with the team.

Just a reminder that our annual Guadalupe River cleanup is happening this Saturday! 🧹🐟

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, we’d love to have you there. This is a great opportunity to give back to the river we all enjoy while helping keep the Guadalupe clean for anglers, wildlife, and future generations.

⏰ 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Lazy L&L Campgrounds
📍 11699 River Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78132

Please meet at the front of Lazy L&L at 8:00 AM, where a volunteer will check you in and direct you to your cleanup area.

What to bring:

✔ Work gloves
✔ Waders or sturdy shoes
✔ Reusable water bottle

We’ll provide:

♻ Trash bags
♻ Trash grabbers
🍕 Pizza and drinks after the cleanup

A huge thank you to Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA) for sponsoring the food for this year’s cleanup and for their continued support of both our chapter and our local waterways. Their ongoing commitment to conservation, stewardship, and protecting the resources that make our rivers special is greatly appreciated.

One of the coolest features outside of Gruene Outfitters at The Station is this incredible art installation inspired by the Guadalupe River flowing through Gruene. 🌊

Created by artist FreelandBuck, “Down By The River” blends custom maps of New Braunfels with imagery of the Guad to reflect the natural beauty, movement, and layered landscape that make this area so unique. The piece shifts as you move around it, almost like seeing the river itself from different perspectives.

It’s a really special addition to The Station and a reminder of how connected Gruene is to the river that runs through the heart of town.
