Certainly hot enough to go tubing this weekend. If you decide to go, make sure to contact your tube rental service before heading out. Several of them have already closed for the year. If you have your own tube, this is a great time of year so long as you can swing a shuttle or walk back to your truck. Have fun.

Remember to check on sales at Academy for tubes. Sometimes they are $10 off this time of year.

That might have been the last weekend this year that a lot of people go tubing. Tell us all about your trip. What rental service did you use, how was the water, how long was your trip? thanks

Flows out of Canyon are 151 cfs right now, and that is the same as last week. At the beginning of summer, the flows were 92 cfs. Looks like it will be partly cloudy with highs around 98* this weekend. Could be a little windy in the afternoon so you might have to paddle a bit. Be sure to hit the water before noon to avoid the holiday weekend crowds.

Flows still are at 151 cfs. Same as last week Good, not great, but good for tubing. A lot better than when they are at 65 cfs Have fun and don’t forget the sunscreen. Better hurry, some tube rental services will only be open a few more weekends. Also, keep your eyes open for Academy and other stores to put their tubes on sale because it is the end of the season for many people.

What tube service did you use this weekend? How was the water? How long did it take to complete the trip?

All good things must end. Flows out of Canyon are now at 151 cfs. That is down from 300 cfs last week. Three months ago the flow was around 93 cfs. Still, there is plenty of water to go tubing. Should be sunny and hot this weekend.

What tube service did you use this weekend? How was the float? How long did it take? Thanks

Go early, avoid the crowds.

Yippieeeeee! Flows out of Canyon still are at 300 cfs. Now is the time to go tubing. Stay to the far left if you go through Huaco Rapids.
