And this is where we part ways.
Reach me at the website in my bio. I’ll update you there when we transition to our new website.
Y’all behave.
I love you all.
You're in the driver's seat of the most complex machine on the planet. Let me show you how to operate it.

Y’all behave.
I love you all.
I was coming at you with some real intelligent s**t to say about coordination, reaction, focus, etc.
But I’m just dribbling a tennis ball with my feet.
Things I’ll take another serving of:
- Texas nights
- Texas humidity
- These lyrics
Vacation is officially over.

Access to information has ‼️NEVER‼️ been the issue.
We have more access now than ever. So, why does it seem as if we are more fragile than ever?
We have apps interrupting our sleep to tell us how bad our sleep is.
We have nutrition programs telling us we’re not consuming enough of the s**t food we shouldn’t be consuming.
We have doctors promoting the idea that diet sodas and Kraft Mac & Cheese aren’t bad for us because “the studies…”
Make sure you strap on your knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, weightlifting belt and whatever else you need to rid yourself of your humanness so you can pick up an object life will never present you with. Don’t forget to snort a rail of your favorite pre workout that doesn’t work.
We’ve become dependent and fragile. I don’t know where we went wrong, but I know where our answers lie…
They’re right in front of us.
Remember who you are.
Remember for you.
Remember for humanity.
“Bend” the rules…and give your lungs more room.
We’ve said it a thousand times and we’ll say it a thousand more times…nothing beats a second nervous system.
A second nervous system doesn’t always quit when you’re ready to. You’re always on that second person’s clock and vice versa.
Shoulder and knee taps are a great way to toy with your reaction, you’re ability to see a tell, test your conditioning, and slap your buddy.
The unknown is where your biggest gains will come. Trust that.

Training with a squad is always preferable to training by oneself.
Training in the elements is always preferable to training inside four walls.
A handful of killers are meeting us down at the river tomorrow morning (Tuesday) at 930. DM for meet up details.
See you out there!

How does one, truly, understand peace and stillness if one has never been through chaos?
Water has rocked babies to sleep. It has also destroyed entire cities. It is a magnificent element. No greater than Earth, wind, and fire but it tells an interesting tale.
I have been held down in the sand under the ocean for much longer than I wanted to on multiple occasions. She always reminds me to relax. There is a penalty for not doing so.
I walk these rivers. I walk these patches of white water. She tosses me around. Massages the unnecessary tension out of my frame. She punches me in the guts, but ever so softly. Just enough to remind me that tense abs have no place here. She’s not impressed by muscles and will penalize the hell out of an out of control ego. She also despises fear. Bring fear to the table and she will rough you up in a violent way.
I walk slowly. I walk softly. I feel every ounce of energy as I carefully place these salamander feet on the next algae covered rock. We dance. As long as I dance her dance, she takes care of me.
“Relax,” she says. “Leave your baggage, your stress, your worries, leave all of it here. I will wash every bit of it to the ocean. In return, take some of this good energy and put it to good use.”
I oblige. I always oblige.
I will meet with her on Thursday morning…again. I will be accompanied by a handful of worthy training partners. If you are proficient in the water, this is your invite.
I’ll see you out there.
