Horse Archery in Texas South Texas Archery Riders (STAR) is a group located in New Braunfels, TX just outside San Antonio.
We were created to have a safe place for practicing the discipline of horseback archery with our horse partners and learning from one another. We offer private lessons, clinics, and demos. Horses are not required, riding experience preferred. For the first couple of times out, our group does have extra bows you may use. 2024 STAR Horseback Archery Competition

This is our NINTH year! Mark your calendars, event dates are March 15th, 16th, 17th with a mandatory practice day on the 14th.
The event will be held at TyTin Ranch in New Braunfels Texas. Competitor limit will be capped at 25 riders.
This will **NOT** be a National Ranking event. However, we will be using paper faces for the Tower and Raid so you will be able to grade.
