Our spring performance features NEAD's younger ballerinas in this year's "Enchanted Forest." There will be two shows on Sunday, June 7th at 11AM and 1PM. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 1 at 10:00 AM. We hope to see you at the New Canaan High School Auditorium!

NEAD's Artistic Directors are excited to share that for its Spring 2026 performance, it will premiere the classical ballet Giselle. This full-length ballet is a cornerstone of the classical repertoire, and are thrilled to bring this beautiful work to the stage on Saturday, June 6 at 5:30PM and Sunday, June 7 at 4PM at New Canaan High School. Tickets are available for purchase on cur8.com on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 10:00AM.

Movie Night Fun with Our Ballerina Friends 🩰🎬 -- At NEDT we offer moments like this event to inspire creativity, encourage growth and learning, and build a sense of team-like camaraderie within the art and sport of dance. Dancer development and enrichment are core pillars of our nonprofit mission. Investing in the next generation of talent is what keeps the passion, light, and dedication to this art shining bright.
A Friday night dream come true for these young dancers! Our Enrichment ballerinas shared a special sleep-under with dancing, crafts, sweet treats, and stories with our young dancers to show how ballet is another way to bring stories to life.
We love to partner with New Canaan Library on so many of our dance productions. Post-holiday whirlwind, we had a full house in the Jim and Dede Bartlett Auditorium with our Nutcracker ballerinas in full force. The young audience members had a chance to experience our Nutcracker production close up. It was interactive and entertaining -- and WOW! these young and engaged children asked INCREDIBLE! questions. Thank you to all who support New England Dance Theater (NEDT). Our nonprofit work enables us to bring these lecture-demonstrations to all ages so anyone and everyone has access to the beauty of art and dance.
