From 8 AM until after 10 PM, these girls competed.

We had cloudy skies, cool weather, rain, and eventually hot sun, but none of it changed what they came to do. We started the first inning a little rusty, settled in quickly, and from there on they played solid.

What stood out to me most was their focus. Warmups were intentional. They stayed locked in between games. And when it was time to play, they competed for each other. 14 hours is a long day of it but the effort never disappeared.

4-0 on the day, #1 seed, and Fall Bash Champions.

A lot to be proud of, but even more to keep building on.
