Dawg Pound Softball

Tomorrow is about more than softball.

As Dawg Pound takes the field, we do so in memory of Delaware State Police Trooper Ty Snook, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. We are honored to play this game remembering his service, dedication, and the impact he left on so many lives.

We also take the field in memory of Lt. Gregg Shelton of the Elsmere Police Department, helping bring awareness to something that affects far too many—men’s mental health and su***de prevention. During Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to remind everyone that strength isn’t measured by what you carry alone. Check on your brothers, your teammates, your friends, and your family. A conversation can make all the difference.

Today we play for those we’ve lost, those still fighting battles we cannot see, and those who continue to serve our communities every day.

Our biggest takeaway from this weekend: Delaware softball is showing out from top to bottom. Huge respect to Prado Auto/The Boys & Shore Threat for giving us some hard-fought battles!

Dawg Pound Softball finished the O.C.B.S. Pit & Pub Men’s Memorial Day Special with a 4-2 record in the E Division. Proud of the way this team competed every game.

A tough 13-7 L is never easy to take but these DAWGS battled all weekend in rain and humidity. Faced some top quality talent and won some big games 4-2 on the weekend.
