This post is a tribute to the incredible people who pour their hearts into making Day Camp In The Park a special place. Every day has been an adventure filled with laughter, learning, and life long memories. Thank you to our incredible counselors and specialists whose passion and commitment shined through all summer long.

is over! Thank you to all of our families for letting us share the summer with your children. We couldn't be more grateful! Already looking forward to summer of 2025!

Day 3 of Tribal games!!!

Day TWO of Tribal games! Perfect weather for a great day!!! Counselor volleyball was a blast!

Yesterday we kicked off Tribal Games with a fantastic show from Skyhunters In Flight featuring falcons, hawks, owls (a newborn owl too!) and even a couple of dachshunds! We learned a lot about the differences, but maybe more importantly the similarities, between a hawk and a falcon. It left us all incredibly charged to compete as two separate tribes, but one big team!

Thank you to the Skyhunters on the ground and in the air. We had such a wonderful time!

Day 1 of Tribal Games! Birds of Prey show, egg toss, tug of war and so much more! We cant wait until tomorrow!

Day Camp In The Park sure loves s'mores!! Every Friday, we get to go up to the fire 🔥 and make our own! Today we celebrate everyone who loves them as much as we do...Happy National Smore's Day!!

Thank you to Jill and Tammy for putting this bingo event together today. The kids had popcorn, and prizes of candy, DCITP string bags, and T-shirts.

Week Six is a little extra special for us at Day Camp in the Park - It highlights the range of creativity, athleticism, and ingenuity that our campers show, develop, and even teach each other each year, and every day fills us with more and more pride in them!
