On the day after the Winter Solstice, the light begins to grow again. We at the Human Library NYC thank every Book, Reader, and Librarian who has made our 2025 events, both public and commissioned, so special and impactful! We rise and fall together, so let's all choose empathy and unjudging, and we won't need the sun to give us more light!

Our first time publishing our Books at Pier 57!! The space was beautiful, the conversations were impactful, and you can see the shining Hudson River behind us! We are grateful for the Readers, Books & Librarians who all took time to today!!

The Human Library NYC is very excited about our first public in-person event in a long time! Our October 5th event is sold out, but we are busy planning more!
