Adaptive Rail Trail Rides in Collinsville
September 3 & September 24
5:30 PM

Adaptive Mountain Biking – Norbrook Brewery
September 27 & October 4
10:00 AM–12:00 PM & 1:00–3:00 PM

Our coaches will work with each athlete to provide instruction and adapt the experience to their individual needs and abilities.

Whether you’re new to adaptive cycling or an experienced rider, there’s an opportunity to get out on the trails and have some fun this fall! Spots are limited sign up through the Summit Adaptive Sports website today!

Summit Adaptive Sports was excited to team up with Winding Trails, Inc to bring a Paradox Sports climbing course to our coaches this past weekend! This training brought together coaches from both organizations to build their skills and expand their ability to provide safe and inclusive climbing experiences for athletes with disabilities.

A huge thank you to Paradox Sports for providing this valuable training and sharing your expertise with our coaching teams.

This training was made possible through the generous support of the Greater Hartford Gives Farmington Greater Together Community Fund. Thank you for investing in adaptive recreation and helping us provide meaningful opportunities for our athletes and coaches!

Summit Adaptive is excited to partner with Canton Parks and Recreation to launch our inaugural Summit Adaptive Skate Program, hosted at Mills Pond Park! 🛹

Whether you’ve boarded before or this is your first time, the Summit Skate Program provides adaptive learning opportunities for participants of all ages and disabilities. Our goal is to make skateboarding accessible, welcoming, and fun for everyone!

A huge thank you to Canton Community Health Fund for helping make this program possible! Because of the Canton Community Health Fund, we were able to purchase adaptive equipment, safety gear, and other materials to help make this program a success. Their support also allows us to offer the program free of charge to Canton residents!

Join us this Sunday for Trail Fest at Norbrook Farm. Whether you’re a returning participant or interested in trying adaptive recreation for the first time, Trail Fest is the perfect opportunity to experience everything our mountain biking program has to offer. Participants can sign up for a traditional adaptive bike lesson with one of our trained instructors, spend time exploring and demoing a variety of adaptive bikes to find the right fit, or enjoy a guided hike through Norbrook’s beautiful trail system.

Come watch Best Day Ever with Summit Adaptive Sports Trust for Public Land and New England Mountain Bike Association this Thursday at 5:30 at the University of Hartford. The film is free to watch, we just ask that you RSVP through the Trust for Public Land website. (or visit our website and follow the link)

🇺🇸 Veteran Weekend with Summit Adaptive Sports 🇺🇸

Join us September 11–13 for a weekend of adaptive outdoor recreation, community, and connection.
This event is FREE for veterans with permanent disabilities, made possible through support from the VA and Move United, with additional support from Tee It Up for Vets.

We’re excited to bring veterans together for an unforgettable weekend filled with adaptive sports, outdoor adventures, and time spent with an incredible community.
