🎣 Think the good fishing is over? Think again.

This beautiful brown trout was caught on the Farmington River this week and released back into the river to keep growing. 👏

September still has plenty to offer out there. Cooler days, fewer crowds, beautiful scenery and, apparently, some pretty impressive fish still willing to make your day.

If fishing is your thing, don’t pack the gear away just yet. There’s still some awesome fishing left this season.

🍁 Summer may be winding down... but paddling season isn’t done yet.

The Farmington is running well right now, but the water is dropping, which means this is one of those weekends you don’t want to keep saying, “maybe next week.”

We’re open Saturday & Sunday from 9a–5p through September, and there are only a handful of weekends left in our season.

Cooler air. Changing leaves. Moving water. Fewer crowds.

Basically... fall adventure without the summer chaos. 🛶🍂

Don’t spend the last unofficial day of summer doing chores.

We’re fully open today until 5 PM at both:

🌊 Main Stream in New Hartford for Farmington River trips
🏖️ Burr Pond State Park for kayaks, canoes & SUPs

The Farmington is running at about 243 CFS today, making for a beautiful Labor Day paddle.

Come make the most of the long weekend while you still can.

☀️ Summer isn’t over yet—don’t act like it is! 🛶

School may have started, but this gorgeous weather is giving us one more excuse to squeeze every last drop out of summer.

The river is running a little lower, but it’s still passable and ready for paddling. Prefer calm, beautiful water? Grab a kayak, canoe, or SUP and head to the lake instead.

Bring the kids, grab your friends, or claim a little well-earned time for yourself. Just don’t spend this beautiful day wishing you had done something fun with it!

🎒 School shopping done? Backpacks packed? Need a break before the craziness really starts?

We are squeezing every last bit out of summer, and you should too.

The river is still passable, and we’re expecting some rain tonight that will hopefully give it a nice little boost. In the meantime, we’ll help you figure out the best place to paddle today and get you on the water.

How cool is this?! 🚐🛶

These two stopped in yesterday to paddle the Farmington River as part of their mission to paddle in all 50 states — and Connecticut was STATE #40! 🙌

They brought their own kayaks, we gave them a shuttle, and off they went to add another state to the list.

We absolutely love meeting people who are out there chasing adventures like this. Safe travels to the final 10!! 💙

And yep — if you have your own kayak, we can shuttle you too.
