There’s a few things to unpack in this video 😂

1. I clearly had an idea for this reel…and never followed through with it 😭 now it’s just a cute little memory of how I greet everyone every class.
2. When I told them to “talk” and just say “ajdkdkdk” for the background audio…what they were ACTUALLY saying in that hallway, we may never know 😂
3. Why do they always go along with my shenanigans??? 😂

But honestly, it’s these little moments in between the dancing that brought us closer. Then we’d go sweat it out, leave everything on the dance floor, and do it all over again the next week 🤍

Crazy how a room full of music and movement turned into something this meaningful. ❤️

Truthfully we made this space feel ALIVE every week ✨

For 2 years, the Q House became a place where we could let go of real life for a little while and just feel joy, confidence, release, and connection. Then somewhere along the way strangers became familiar faces, and familiar faces became chances to connect and be comfortable around.

Thank you to everyone that would show up week in and week out, to everyone that brought a friend or family member, to everyone who participated in our themes, to everyone that allowed themselves to open up 🥹

The ending of this night reminded me that Unity was never about the building. It was always about the people in it. 🫶🏼

I never imagined this for me but I am fulfilled with this life ✨

This might look like an ending… but for us, home is wherever we are ✨

We may be in between spaces right now, but what we do have is something stronger than any studio… OUR COMMUNITY. The unknown can put me down but instead I lean on them and they empower me more to never give up. The energy, the love, the way we show up.. that’s what keeps us moving forward 🤞🏼

Zumba has changed our lives, and we know it can continue to change others. We’re on the search for a new space where we can be fully ourselves, bring our energy, and feel welcomed exactly as we are.
