New Haven Bed Race to hit the pavement in September A New Haven tradition returns to the downtown for a great cause.

We are happy to announce that our 2018 NHV Bed Race charity partner is the Connecticut Burns Care Foundation, Inc.. Established in 1978, their mission is to provide financial aid to existing burn care units, promote education on burn care treatment, promote burn prevention, provide financial aid for research on burn care, and support the Arthur C. Luf Children's Burn Camp.

The Arthur C. Luf Children’s Camp has been bringing happiness to young heroes since 1991. They welcome children ages 8 – 18 years old to be a kid again, after experiencing a life-altering burn injury. It is a chance to be worry-free, away from bullying, and stares, and awkward questions. At Burn Camp, every child is a survivor, so there is no reason to hide your scars. That freedom is a tremendous gift to every attendee and gives them strength to continue their emotional and physical healing journey.
