When I started Peaceful Pastures, the mission was simple: to give horses a second chance at life. Over the past year, our organization has faced challenges that made us stronger and others that brought us to our knees. But through it all, God has blessed us with incredible volunteers, beautiful friendships, and opportunities to bring others closer to Christ. For that, I will forever be grateful. 🤍
A couple of months ago, we made the difficult decision to eliminate our boarding program to bring the peace back to Peaceful Pastures. Unfortunately, that also meant losing a significant portion of our funding. After countless prayers, sleepless nights, and many tears, I have made the decision to pull back the reins and transition away from our current location. This was not a decision made lightly, but one I truly believe God is guiding us through.
PLEASE KNOW, THIS IS NOT THE END OF PEACEFUL PASTURES! This barn may have been where our story grew, but it is not where our mission ends. Sometimes God asks us to leave behind what is familiar to make room for what He has planned next.
Let me be very clear: negativity, hateful comments, accusations, and unnecessary drama will NOT be tolerated. Any comments of that nature will be removed, and individuals who continue to spread negativity will be blocked. We have spent enough time defending our hearts and our mission, and we will no longer allow negativity to overshadow the horses who deserve our focus. If you cannot support our decision, we simply ask that you respect it and move on. To those who continue to stand beside us, please pray for our horses, our volunteers, our transition, and our future.
This isn't goodbye. It's simply a new chapter, and we're trusting God to write the rest. 🤍✝️
