🚨 PUBLIC NOTICE- SEPTEMBER 9, 2026 🚨

Effect immediately, the King Joseph Gym in Jeanerette is temporarily closed until further notice.

A crack across the gym floor was discovered over the weekend creating a safety concern for play and recreational activities. For the safety of the public, the gym will remain closed while this issue is evaluated and addressed.

For those looking to play basketball, we have outdoor courts that are available to the public at several park locations throughout the area.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. We will provide an update when the gym is safe to reopen.

UPDATE (7/18/26 at 1:45pm)-
The Willow Wood splash pad is CLOSED this weekend due to technical problems. It appears someone has broken the button which activates the water. Maintenance will work to repair it and we hope to have it back open next weekend! Thanks!
