***UPDATE ON John Sabatino/PASTIME SPORTS ACADEMY'S FALL/WINTER WORKOUTS***
(see details below...)

Pastime Sports Academy still have a few spots available for their Fall/Winter Baseball Workouts....

WORKOUTS START THE LAST WEEK IN OCTOBER OR FIRST WEEK IN NOVEMBER...

***THESE TIMES WILL NOT INTERFERE WITH OTHER SPORTS.***

● 12 WEEKS
● 3 SESSIONS A WEEK
● 2 HRS PER SESSIONS
● A TOTAL OF 72 HRS.
● 6 to 8 TOTAL PLAYERS PER SESSION (keeping the numbers smaller to maximize the work outs! Also will have multiple groups)

These Baseball workouts will guarantee to help strengthen and condition the key muscles that baseball players use to throw and hit harder and also prevent injuries.

Hitting Muscles:
*core/trunk/obliques
*lower back
*legs(hamstrings and quads and calves)
*hip flexers
*forearms/wrist
*biceps
*triceps
*lats
*grip strength
*mental toughness for hitting

Throwing Muscles:
*shoulder
*rotator cuff (the four muscles that make up the rotator cuff)
*scaps
*triceps
*biceps
*lats
*deltoids
*wrists
*forearms
*grip strengths
*legs(hamstrings and quads and calves)
*hip flexers
*core/trunk/obliques
*lower back
*glutes
* internal and external rotation
*mental toughness for pitching

We will teach proper pitching/throwing and hitting mechanics. (NO kimicks). Also we will build and conditioning the proper muscles used for baseball and to prevent injuries.

These workouts will help you to excel in Pitching and Hitting.

● Proper warm ups
● Proper Jbands workouts
● Proper arm circles to hit all 3 heads of the rotator cuff ( works all 4 of the muscles that make up the rotator cuff)
● Proper scap stabilization exercises
● Proper medicine ball workouts to build the whole core and build and strengthen the lower back.
● Proper weighted ball workouts
● Proper plyometrics exercises for strength and stability
● Proper leg exercises to strengthen the whole leg
(glutes, quads, hamstrings, calves, and hip flexers).

During the sessions we will teach the players how important the mental part of the game is and teach mental toughness.

By doing this it will help them get through the peaks and valleys of the game (the cause and affect theory).

Once (which should start at a young age) a player realizes that baseball is a game of failure, they will understand to controll their emotions.

What many College and Pro Scouts discuss with me it's not the mistake they make its what they do after making the mistake!

Players will be taught how to compete during these classes which will in turn help them to compete on the field.

Session days will be on Sundays am, Tuesdays pm and Thursdays pm.

Please contact John Sabatino to reserve your spot. (708)828-7306 [email protected]
