Baseball Rallies Past Tufts in NCAA Regional Opener NEW LONDON, Conn. – The third-seeded Mitchell College baseball team overcame a two-run eighth inning deficit to surge past second-seeded Tufts University, 6-5, in the opening round NCAA Baseball Championship New London Regional on Friday afternoon at Alumni Field.
