I heard rumors that the New Haven Hash House Harriers (NH4) might also have a trail this Saturday which would make this a double-header weekend! Because 2 heads are better than one 😃🍻

COVID-19 note: Narwhal Misman has been closely following both the CDC and the Office of Gov. Lamont during reopening. With new guidelines in place and the State of Connecticut being on the downward slide for new cases of COVID-19, we have decided to recommence trails! Much discussion has occurred regarding disease-free hashing with your favorite pod of Majestic Creatures, resulting in the following guidelines:
*** Respect and Consent are PRIMARY!***
You MUST be given consent by a hasher to breach their social distancing; that includes physical contact like hugs/handshakes, passing of items, sharing of items, and standing closely without a mask. If you breach without consent and get yelled at for it: Congratulations! That is now your responsibility to handle. Don’t make it sh*tty for everyone!
Health- is foremost. *DO NOT* attend trail if you:
- Are sick/have recently tested positive for COVID-19 or if your household or bubble member is currently sick
- Have traveled internationally in the past 14 days
- Have come from or traveled to the following in the past 14 days: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Utah, or Texas.
Masks- are encouraged for close contact, but not required for trail. They are for protecting everyone else, not necessarily ourselves. We have zero right to be offended if anyone asks us to wear masks near them.
Physical contact- with those outside your home space or current bubble is not recommended by the State at this time. However, we are all adults and understand that each of you are responsible for your own health and well-being.
Sanitizing solutions- will be available prior to trail, on trail for each drink check, end of trail, and on-after.
Beverages- are highly discouraged to share outside your household or current bubble. Bring a vessel to share a beverage or not at all. Beer/glutard swill will be available on trail as part of hash cash. If you would like to bring your own trail beverages and carry along, please inform the hare in a post on the event when RSVPing, or at least 6 hours prior to trail. We want to avoid any extraneous efforts be it beer carrying or beer buying!
Social distancing- is highly recommended wherever possible by the State, CDC, and Narwhal Misman. For trails we will have red, yellow, and green one-time-use wristbands to indicate your level of social distancing i.e. Red= G**O my bubble, Yellow= Ask me first, ask me anything, Green= PLEASE HUG ME!
Hash cash- is currently *highly* encouraged through our paypal ([email protected]) or if you prefer Venmo or Cashapp you can directly pay the hares. If you PayPal please remember to choose friends & family (we’re not a business, don’t make us pay taxes!) and in the note put your Hash name and trail.

Hey pod,
Message from your GM. Given all that's going on with covid-19, we're making the decision to suspend trail for the time being. I work at the hospital and though I have no patient contact and have been washing my hands like crazy, I'm still likely to be exposed. Also Phalice is going to have her elderly mother staying with her.
We all joke about safety third, but really, your health is of utmost importance to us. We really do consider you family and we want you all hashing long into the future 💙🦄🐳
