This industry is really hard sometimes. ❤️
But as an instructor and horse trainer, our job is to find the problems, address them, and work through them—whether the issue is with the rider, the horse, or sometimes both.
There are days when you’re so caught up in the work, the lessons, the training, the setbacks, and trying to make everything better that you forget just how much what you do means to other people.
This week really reminded me.
I’m so incredibly grateful for every opportunity I’m given to work with kids, clients, and their horses. Being trusted with someone’s child and their horse is something I will never take lightly.
Sometimes it’s the little moments, the progress you almost don’t notice, a child gaining confidence, a horse finally understanding, or a client telling you how much you’ve helped that reminds you exactly why you do it.
This week hit me hard—in the best way.
I am so, so grateful… and I truly am in love with my job.
The hard days make the good ones mean that much more.
