If I asked you to tell me which team led the PAC12 in recruiting this year, would your first guess be the Arizona Wildcats?

Zona is 1-23 in its last 24 games, yet 2nd year HC Jedd Fisch was able to put together a '22 class that ranked 22nd nationally - the 'Cats also raided the transfer portal, nabbing last year's PAC12 Freshman of the year in ex-WSU QB Jayden de Laura and 1st team Conf USA WR Jacob Cowing from UTEP (amongst others).

Arizona is going to be a much tougher out this year and at this point it's clear that Fisch has this program headed in the right direction.

Many people have asked me what I think about the LSU QB situation…

I think Myles Brennan is a good passer and we know he had great numbers before his injury last year, but his lack of mobility is a significant detriment, especially in today's college game.

I think Garrett Nussmeier has a shot to be a good quarterback at some point in his career, but despite rumors of a strong Spring I am not convinced he is ready for a team like this one that is in such a stage of transition.

I think you'll see Jayden Daniels under center against Florida State in the Superdome on 9/4 - Daniels is an electric athlete who rushed for over 700 yards and 6 td's last year, and though ppl knock his passing ability he threw for just under 3,000 yards w/ 17td's and only 2 picks as a Freshman at Arizona State - the Sun Devils have regressed yearly under Herm Edwards and therefore I'm willing to forgive his 10 INT's last year (especially given his 22/3 TD to INT ratio through '20 that included shortened Covid season) - Daniels' ceiling is extremely high and if he can regain his '19 form the Tiger offense may surprise this year!
