Radiance Sutras
#24
This body is made of earth and gold,
sky and stars,
rivers and oceans,
masquerading as muscle and bone.
Every substance is here:
Diamonds and silver, magical elixirs,
Ambrosia that gives visions,
Herbs that nourish and heal.
The foundation of the planet,
Immoral magnetic iron,
Circulating in the blood.
Every element in you loves the others.
Earth loves rain,
Sky loves sun,
Sun loves the space it shines through, Space loves everyone equally.
In meditation, luxuriate in knowing this deep and simple truth.
Every cell is an organ of sense infused with majesty.
— Lorin Roche, The Radiance Sutras

There’s a quiet wisdom we discover when we allow ourselves to feel.
To feel what we are experiencing in the moment.
To feel it through our emotions.
To feel it in our bodies.
To acknowledge the impact (whether that be positive, negative, or neutral).
Let yourself be with your feelings and your experience so that you can meet the next moment fully present and much clearer on how to authentically move forward.🪷

Did you know that yoga strengthens parts of the brain that play a key role in memory, attention, awareness, thought, and language?
Mind-body practices that combine meditation and movement may be the most beneficial for helping us continue to create new neural pathways and improving cognitive capacity that often decline with age.
Like we needed another reason to love yoga 🧘🏽🪷🧠

Part of doing something is listening.
Not all things we encounter are meant to inform our lives, but many times we overlook signs, internal knowing, and experiences that we have. Practice noticing things that come up. Learn to discern when it is our inner wisdom speaking to us or perhaps different lessons or guidance coming in unexpected ways. 🪷

Part of doing something is listening.
We are listening.
To the sun.
To the stars.
To the wind.

Breathing in, I know I am breathing in.
Breathing out, I know I am breathing out.
Breathing in, I notice my in- breath has become deeper.
Breathing out, I notice that my out-breath has become slower...
Breathing in, I calm myself.
Breathing out, I feel at ease.
Breathing in, I smile.
Breathing out, I release.
Breathing in, I dwell in the present moment.
Breathing out, I feel it is a wonderful moment.

On the surface IPATH® may seem like just restorative yoga but is so much more than that.
The IPATH® Method uses therapeutic techniques that include somatic movement and myofascial release that brings ease, length, and balance to the body.
The breath, linked with slow movement and stillness, sends the message to the body that it is safe to soften and release. This calming of the nervous system also helps us allow the body to remain in meditative stillness during practice. This benefits the body and mind.
Come explore this restorative practice that improves posture, eases pain, and opens the body from the comfort of your own home. 🧘🏽🏠🧘🏻♂️
