On this day in 1991, Catholic High Soccer - Baton Rouge fell behind undefeated De La Salle 1-0 in the first half but staged a second-half rally to claim its second straight state title with a 3-1 victory. Minutes after sophomore Scott Yerby's penalty kick tied the game, another Yerby goal, this time on an assist from Billy Roberts, gave the Bears the lead. Roberts accounted for the team's final goal with 9 minutes left to seal the win and the championship.🐻⚽
