VI Revivência is one for the books! We learned, we laughed, we played, we connected. Thank you to every single person who came out to make this event happen. Thank you to all the CapoeiraNewOrleans students who worked so hard to put this event together. Congratulations to Professor Grande and your students at Instrutor Grande - Capoeira Arte Reviver who flew out from CA to celebrate YOU! Thank you, Mestre Cocada, Mestre Jelon, Mestre Toni Vargas, Mestra Colibri, Mestra Canela, and Professora Rosa. Amazing, fantastic, ✨magical✨week of capoeira. Gratidão. (I wish I could tag everyone but IG makes me stop at 20)

With a very grateful heart, thank you all for coming to New Orleans to celebrate our VI Revivência - batizado, troca de cordas, e formatura! The energy was off the charts! From workshops with all the mestres, our performance at the New Orleans Jazz Museum to the roda de rua in City Park and graduation celebrations - it was a dream. It will take a few weeks to unpack all the knowledge the Mestres shared. May we all incorporate that learning into not only our games but our day to day lives. Muito obrigada de novo a todos! Até a próxima roda. Axé! “O futuro é ancestral“.

Muito obrigada aos Mestres:
