Over the course of about a year, I have noticed this sign in various locations in Arizona. The state must have one of the most liberal prisoner treatment policies because it would appear that if a prisoner likes their current imprisonment location, they can "refuse transfer" to another facility. However, I just wonder what they do to the prisoner at these refuse transfer stations. It can't be good for the prisoners!

Greetings Cat Dan adventurers! Am totally enjoying wintering over in Baja California. A good 6-7 hours of wind each day.....snorkeling is absolutely awesome....and there is so much to see when cruising!

Well fellow adventurers, Cat Dan has been given the green light (because of my security clearance) to go ahead and begin planning the proposed 2025 quasi semi-circumnavigation of Mexico and South America. Starting on a date that will allow the fleet to take advantage of the spring - fall climate of South America, we will depart from Loreto, BCS, MX, head northeast up around the curve of the Sea of Cortez, down the Mexican west coast, all the way down to the tip of South America (that's right.....we are going to round the horn), up the east coast of South America, Central America and winding up at the US/Mexican border. This will be done on the Hobie Cat Getaway sail catamaran. Two boats so far. This has never been done before....it's going to make a great movie.

Hey crew, look what I came across in Baja California, MX! After having stopped to talk with a couple of the workers who were on a break, I learned that what you see in the pic will one day be the world's largest pyramid! Now, most of us are aware of what the ancient Egyptians accomplished with the three main pyramids (and many smaller ones) on the west bank of the Nile River. But it would appear that Mexico, with this pyramid, will be "one-upping" the ancients. Why? It's because instead of building a pyramid for each deceased president, Mexico is taking a brilliant approach by building just one huge pyramid designed to accommodate their deceased presidents for the next 1,500 years! Viva Mexico! I'm impressed!

Hello adventurers! Here's the latest. Starting around Dec 26, Catamaran Dan and his Hobie Getaway Shamrocket will be exploring the waters off the eastern coastline of Baja California and Baja California Sur.
