⚜️ IT’S HERE, NOLA! ⚜️
The mats are about to hit the floor and the New Orleans Yoga Festival officially kicks off TODAY! 🧘♀️✨
Starting at 1:30 PM, we’ve got classes of all kinds: something to move your body, quiet your mind, open your heart, or simply remind you to breathe.
Then at 5 PM, we gather for two beautiful offerings designed to open the heart, set an intention, and bring sound + movement into the space as we begin this weekend together. 🎶💃🏽🙏
Because this weekend isn’t just about yoga.
It’s about connection.
It’s about community.
It’s about remembering that beneath all the different paths, backgrounds, stories, and neighborhoods… we’re all part of the same beautiful human experience.
And if there’s one city that knows how to come together, celebrate life, and turn strangers into family…

Today, New Orleans Yoga Festival officially takes flight at Vintage Rock Club from 4:45–8:30 PM! 🌞🧘♀️🎶
We’re kicking off this beautiful weekend the only way New Orleans knows how, with music, movement, community, and a little bit of magic. ✨
Teachers and presenters are coming in from near and far to gather under one roof, but the real magic happens when YOU walk through the door.
Come move your body.
Come quiet your mind.
Come open your heart.
Come meet an old friend, make a new one, or simply reconnect with the deepest part of yourself.
Yoga has always been more than the poses. It’s the breath between the beats, the stranger who becomes a friend, the moment you look around and realize we’re all connected. And there’s no better place to experience that than right here in the city that knows a thing or two about soul. 💜⚜️

We know that sometimes the things we can’t say with words come out through a second line, a drumbeat, a sway of the hips, a cry, a laugh, or a whole lotta dancing. 💃🏽🕺🏽
And at New Orleans Yoga Festival we’re creating space for exactly that.
Meet Brynne Heatley ◈ Singer | Performer | Artist a conduit of love, connection, healing, and song who has devoted her life to helping people come home to their bodies, their sensuality, and their creativity.

This is a sober, freeform movement journey where the music becomes your guide and your body becomes the storyteller.
Together, we’ll move through a metaphorical hero’s journey of birth, life, death, and beyond, allowing whatever wants to move through you to have a place to be felt, expressed, and released.
We’ll begin by creating a safe container rooted in consent, connection, respect, and freedom of expression, followed by a playful warm-up to shake off the day and soften into your own rhythm.
Then… we dance.
No choreography.
No right or wrong.
No performing for anyone.
Just you, your breath, your body, the music, and a room full of humans remembering how to be free.
Come sober. Come curious. Come exactly as you are.
Because here in New Orleans, dance has always been medicine.
And maybe your body has something it’s been waiting to tell you. 🌀💜

Meet Rebecca Crenshaw, Executive Director of YEAH! YOGA, the beneficiary of this year’s New Orleans Yoga Festival. 💚
Yeah! Yoga is bringing the practice of yoga and meditation to youth impacted by incarceration, and they’re creating pathways for teachers to serve through trauma-informed yoga teacher trainings.
During the festival, stop by their booth, meet the people behind the work, learn how you can get involved, and discover how your practice can become an offering to someone who needs it.
This is seva or selfless service. 🙏🏽
NOLA Yoga Fest is about coming home to yourself… but it’s also about remembering that we don’t come home alone. We are part of a community, and when we have more than we need, we have an opportunity to share.
