We acknowledge that it has taken us awhile to post this, but we wanted to make sure that we are doing the work and not just making empty statements.

Brass is committed to standing with the black lives matter movement. We are educating ourselves and reaching out in our local community to talk with groups that offer workshops on anti-racism, how to work with the local community, and starting relationships that can make a lasting change.

We recognize that as a roller derby team, we do not accurately reflect the diverse city that we are in and we need to do the work to become the inclusive league that we claim to be.
