🔥 VARIANCE DOESN’T MEAN RANDOM
You may look at a CrossFit week and think:
“Yesterday we ran. Today we’re lifting. Tomorrow gymnastics… is this just random?”
No. There is science and structure behind the variance.
CrossFit is built around constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. We vary movements, loads, time domains, rep schemes, and combinations so your body develops broad, well-rounded fitness instead of becoming good at only one thing.
And those letters you may see in programming actually mean something:
M = Monostructural 🏃🚴🚣
Running, rowing, biking, jumping rope
G = Gymnastics 🤸
Pull-ups, push-ups, handstands, muscle-ups, squats and other bodyweight movements
W = Weightlifting 🏋️
Snatches, cleans, deadlifts, presses, kettlebells and other external loads
Some days may be M.
Some G + W.
Others M + G + W.
Different combinations create different training demands and adaptations.
So when you walk into CrossFit Tusky Valley and the workout looks completely different from yesterday, understand:
👉 Different does not mean random.
There is a purpose behind the variation.
We are training you not to specialize — but to be ready for anything. 💪🔥
